7005 WCCX frame for a team mate who has moved east

She may be a few thousand miles away but she will be representing Santa Cruz on this frame.
I'm sure that she will run into other lobster riders in N.C.  There's a whole  group of them in the Asheville area.

7005 WCCX frame going to Pa.

Although you can't see it in the photo, this color has a fine metallic. The frame is mated to an Enve G-series fork with 50 mm rake to match the geometry of this small frame. I think the frame is barely 3 lbs.
The silver decals were a good choice-I matched up the seat collar and rear der. hanger to complete the look.

7005 CX going to Oak Park, Il.

This one has three bottle mounts and the top tube mounts are for a small bag. There's a lot of gravel roads out in the midwest and that makes for perfect riding for a bike like this.

Steel big tire CX going to Fairfax, Calif.

That's right- this one is going to where the whole MTB thing supposedly started in the '70's.

7005 disc road frame going to San Jose, Calif.

I had to photograph this one in the sun to capture the depth of the paint color.....not sure that I did but indoors this frame almost looks black.
this is a very dark translucent red with black decals that you can't really see except in direct sunlight.
This is a stiff racing frame meant for the bay area criterium circuit but put some 700x28 tires on it and you can ride it all day. It will be paired to an Enve road/disc fork.

All road steel bike going to Florida

Wish that I had more photos of this one. This is probably the only customer build I have been able to do this year. I did one other for a bike show back in the spring but it was a single speed and many of the parts were stuff I had in stock. This one has the first set of Boyd wheels in my shop , a Sram Force group with hydraulic brakes and mechanical shifting. There's an Enve fork , Praxis carbon Zayante crankset and FSA handlebar, Easton stem and post-even some Time pedals. The saddle is a fancy Selle Italia. The bike weighs 19 lb. 9 oz. as you see it. The rider is 6'1"so this is pretty light for a steel frame bike in this size. This is a high end build that came together in 2022 when little else in the way of complete builds did. I hope that the customer enjoys it.

WCCX frame with Enve painted-to-match fork going to a team member

This WCCX model took a couple of years to catch on but this year I have built many of them. By years end I should know if it is the second most popular frame I build. This one has the reverse image decals and will go to a guy who formerly rode almost exclusively single speed CX for the last decade or so. He will have gears now.
The Enve G-series fork has been painted to match like so many of them have been. I hope that the rider likes what I built- the frame is nearly identical to my own.

Long and slack gravel frame going to Switzerland

This shop in Bern , Cyclecraft asks for some geometry that is definitely not Nor-Cal CX style but then, it is Switzerland after all. There must be some epic descents where a slacker head angle might feel a little safer.
This is a pretty classic color- "Illusion Purple" I think.....hard to remember all the color names when you have as many frames at the painter as I do any given month. September has turned into the "Prep and ship" month so many of you out there will be seeing your frames......at least that is the goal. I think I shipped out about 8-10 last week.

7005 road frame going to Florida

This 6'8" rider ordered a rim brake road frame asking for something durable. I used all NOS Easton Elite main tubes so I hope that this one really holds up for a long time.
The frame is paired with an Enve tapered steerer road fork and a Cane Creek 40 headset.

SSCX race frame going to Sacramento, Calif.

I had to take this one out in the sun to photograph it so you all could see the sparkle in the paint. It is pretty spectacular.
The gold decals were the best choice in my opinion. Purple and gold, like the British royal family-always a majestic color combo.

WCCX frame going to Daly City, Calif.

Not sure if the customer will be racing this season but his frame is ready. This is the light tube set and I think the frame is barely 3 lbs.
The fork is an Enve G-series with 50 mm rake to match the head angle of this compact frame.

WCCX frame going to Mass.

Orange and blue is a very popular as of late. This frame and fork will be mated to a King Dropset 3 in Navy-I was really lucky score it. These headsets have been in very short supply for the last couple of years.

Travel bike for 700x45 going to Ireland

With S&S couplers, rack mounts and upright cockpit, this should be a good utility bike for overseas travel.
This customer lives in Flagstaff, Az. but will be living in Ireland for the next year. It is pretty rainy over there so if the tires are smaller than 700x45 fenders should fit. My guess is that the rider will opt for a clip-on type of fender for easy installation and removal.
The bike will have a blend of GRX and Ultegra components and will have a 2X drivetrain.

WCCX frame with Enve fork going to Wi.

This one is coming in just in time for CX racing season- down to the wire. I am doing my best to prep and box the many completed frames I have on the rack. This one is very much like my own except that this one has EBB single speed option and Di II 12 speed routing. This is the current edition with the checkered stripes.
The fork was painted to match by Joe's bicycle painting who have really done a great job keeping to schedule. I'm happy that this one is ahead of schedule and that it was not held up by the many supply chain issues that have been rampant this year and last.
