Mass start 7005 track frame for Staten Island, NY.

This is the third track frame I have built this year. This one will have a steel fork that I will build when I am done with this batch of aluminum frames. This one is number 8 in the batch which might be as many as 12 by the end of next week.
The seat stays and chain stays are heavy duty for hard urban use. I think that this frame will get a pretty severe beating so I built it to take it. I hope that it is fun to ride- it sure will be stiff !

7005 CX frame going to Michigan

This rider is pretty leggy so the head tube is longer. The frame is made for mechanical shifting and flat mount brakes. The frame comes in at 3 lbs. 10 oz. which is about 1-1/4 lb. less than a steel frame in this size. The rear end is a taste longer to accommodate 700x45 tires.

WCCX frame going to Reno, Nevada

This one is #6 in the current batch so I'm over half way done with the first pre-season CX frames. I'll have another similar batch coming up in May.

7005 29er cross country frame going to Indiana

If you might have wondered what if anything I was going to do to modernize my hard tail aluminum frames , you are looking at it. This is the most up to date aluminum race MTB frame yet from me- the main difference being the shaped tubes. This frame is built for a 120 mm fork and up to 2.4" tires and has boost spacing. I think I want a single speed built like this-I sold the last single speed-the Chris King 'guest house' bike and I kind of miss the whole single speed way.
This one of course is not a single speed but the frame contours are exactly what I would want for myself. The frame is only 4 lb.2 oz. The same frame in steel would be nearly 6 lbs. and not be as stiff. I think it will be a pretty fast bike once it is all together.

Gravel frame in steel going to Morgan Hill, Calif.

The customer of this frame is not only on the CX team but he's a lifer in the bicycle business-that is until recently. He has retired and this bike will hopefully be what he chooses for post-work adventures.
The fork is a big one- Whiskey MCX , made to take cargo, big tires and bottle cages. This is the first one of these forks I have built a frame around. The axle-to-crown length is a bit longer than a regular CX fork.
And of course the frame is completed with one of Jen Green's bronze lobster head badges.

Steel Tracklocross frame and fork for a team member

As of now I have made two of these. It really is different to build a frame for thru-axles but without brakes. This frame and fork are a dedicated Tracklocross rig- not meant for anything else....a highly specific ride.
Tange makes some very stout road blades that are intended for disc brake use. I used them here to give a bit of a classic look but to also help make the front end of the frame robust.
I have not looked at other tracklocross frames-I'm sure there are others out there but I decided to just build something that had the components of a good CX frame with a bit of track specs in terms of BB height. So far I think the first bike has been performing really well. Since this second one is identical it should be as good. Time will tell if there's any further tweaks needed- there's always something that can be improved.

Large WCCX frame

The spring aluminum batch is well under way and this is probably the largest CX frame in the mix.
The rider is tall enough that I had to use a 44 MM ID straight head tube instead of the usual integrated type - the integrated head tube is not available in anything larger than 180 MM. This head tube is 219 !

Steel gravel frame going to San Dimas, Calif.

It is always nice when someone in the bike industry chooses me as the builder of their next frame.
The odd thing is that the customer was visiting a dealer in Switzerland -Cyclecraft. The owner told him to take a spin on the frame I built for him- I guess that was all it took for this guy to order one. I can't take full credit as the geometry of this frame was a design from Cyclecraft and differs a bit from what I normally build. It must be pretty good .........

World cup CX frame going to Philadelphia

This one will be set up with Shimano Di II. Where are the holes for the wires ?  Don't worry- they will be going in today . This is frame # 3 in a batch of 10-12 aluminum frames that I am currently building.
My hope is that this batch and the following one will make my list a lot shorter for the new people coming on board. The steel list is quite long now but not as long as it was last year. I hope that I can get the wait time under a year soon.......stay tuned.

Steel gravel frame going to the Pacific northwest

Team color-original design yellow and black decals- this is a nod to two visual aspects of the frames I have built over the years. The decal design is from 1984. I just woke up one morning and I knew how I wanted it to look . I just spent about a hour sketching it out and then called it good. I guess for the last 39 years it has been good enough. The team color started in 2006. I think that I got my first Jen Green headbadge in 2003. My, how the decades just fly by.....

Steel gravel frame going to Nor-Cal

This frame will primarily have 650 wheels with big tires but it might do some road miles with 700x32 tires as well. This rider uses really short cranks so I won't have to worry about pedal strikes on corners when he uses the smaller tires.
The head badge is a Jen Green in copper.

Steel 650 gravel frame going to Torrance, Calif.

Nice color on this one-the customer got the idea from another customer from late last year.
The frame is mated to an Enve G-series fork and is capped off with a Jen Green sterling silver head badge.

Steel 29er boost fully rigid going to Colorado

This one is a nod to the very first few MTB frames that I made in 1984. The color is the same but the axle specs, geometry and features are much more in line with the present.
The head tube is adorned by some Bocama heat tube rings and a gold Jen Green badge.
This one is not made for big tires as it will most likely be fit with 2.3".

Rim brake aluminum CX frame for Seattle area

This one has eyelets on the dropouts and dropper post routing so it is a little different.

Steel drop-bar MTB frame

Yes- this might look like a gravel frame but it is different. This one will take 2" tires and will maybe see some bike packing duties. It is heavily built and made for extreme trail conditions.

Another tracklocross frame

This one is identical to the last one- I still have to build a fork later this week.
The chain will be tensioned with an EBB from Squid bikes. The fork will be a straight blade crowned version, same as the last frame I built for las season. 2023 will see the WCSSCX race here in Santa Cruz so single speed CX will be the theme of this year. I hope to create a lot of these frames in 2023.

Steel road frame for long reach calipers and 700x32 tires

This one will also take fenders. I'll be finishing the fork in a few days and it will be off to the painter.
