The batch goes to heat treatment
Yes-I have not been idle-as soon as I got back from vacation I launched into these 10 frames . I'll have photos of each after they are painted. This represents about three weeks of work. I think they came out pretty good considering the age of the builder.
Small steel all-road frame for Colorado
This one is going to and industry person. It will be set up with internal chainstay-exit rear brake and it also has a T-47 BB shell. Yes, I did not offer this for years but now I do so there.....I did eventually cave to all the requests ! I also offer UDH on steel frames now- I'm bending with the times and it's really not much of a learning curve to deal with either of those two items. In route ? .........that is a bit more of a learning curve, at least in my case. Maybe like learning to operate an new phone-not something older people really warm up to-and I am an older people.
Steel gravel/CX frame with UDH
Well, never thought I would be building with UDH dropouts but now I am thankful as the supply of non-UDH dropouts has been temporarily interrupted with the demise of Paragon Machine works. I'm sure that within a few weeks the situation will be much better but in the mean time all the steel frames I will be building will be UDH such as this one. I can still build non-UDH aluminum frames and have been doing so for the last few weeks-been so focused on building them that none of them have made it to the blog ....but they will with time. I'm sorting out a very strange time in the bike business right now- it is not what I would call a good time but it won't be like this forever-I'm taking steps to do what I can .
