This customer requested that I try my hand at painting on the logos rather than the standard decals. I have not done this sort of thing for a good many years....I guess if it does not make the cut it can easily be removed ! When I first started building I used to always hand paint on the name....I had no decals nor money to have them made.
Hey Paul, Check out the web site "Apartment Therapy". One of your bikes is featured prominently in a tour of this fellow's San Francisco apartment. Look for "Bill's Story filled San Francisco Apartment". Your bike as art. Ironic!
Hi Paul. I like the hand painted lettering.Ive seen alot of older bike bikes here in Australia finished that way.My grand father was a frame builder in the late 1940s, and all of his bicycles logos were hand writen and pin striped.

That's a 2005 team frame...I wonder where he got it-I didn't make very many that color.Cool.
