Tall 'cross frame for L.A.

This rider is about 6'4" if I remember right. He opted for the S.L. version that will take big tires.
This will be a versatile bike and good on the trails. The frame will also take front and rear racks and fenders.
An unusual request was for a steel custom stem. I only build a few of these each year and this one will take a 31.8 mm handlebar.

This is for my kid. They grow up so fast. And then go fast. Can't wait to see him tear up jack this a way. If his dad made one this strong it would take a fork lift to move it. But I could do it. Honest.

Out of curiosity, is there any functional advantage to having rear derailleur cable stops on the drive side seat stay? It only exposes the cable for ~8-10 inches. I see it a lot, but I would think a zip-tie guide and full housing would be better.

As always, nicely done! I really dig bikes, especially CX.

I guess I'm just not a zip tie guy. Full housing is a good thing in rainy climates. This bike will live in So-Cal. Not much rain there...it will probably be o.k. Oh yeah....advantage ? Probably none with this type of routing other than the easy lubing point for the last piece of housing.
