You might think that I have not been building many frames as of late- this is not the case. What I have not been doing has been posting all of them on this blog ....hope to catch up with that some time soon, This is the 45th frame of the year so I am on a quicker pace than I had intended for 2026 - wanting to build only 70 frames in a year. I guess if they are turning out as nicely as this one I'll keep at this speed.
This frame is unique in that it is designed to work with the Enve rigid carbon fork and is unlikely to have a shock fork or a dropper post. This is a cross country rig all the way with the only modern feature being the UDH dropout. If I were making myself a steel MTB frame I'm pretty sure that it would look just like this one.The frame is going to an old friend who is a bike industry lifer and was on our CX team for a number of years. He has had many of my frames - I hope that he really likes this one.
