Steel road racing frame for Seattle

Yes, there are still folks racing on steel. Here's a frame that should handle the hard use well. The True Temper and Reynolds tubes are light but still pretty stout. I weight the frame before the braze-ons were applied and it was 3 lbs. 15 oz , not bad for a larger steel frame.

Is the seat tube ovalized at the bottom?

On bikes with no front derailleur hanger, how do you ovalize the seat tube down there yet ensure you can still clamp on a front derailleur?

Good question. On road bikes the der. mounts pretty high so it isn't an issue. On mtb frames I no longer ovalize the bottom of the seat tubes as the fr. der's have super low clamps. So much for old style......

What's the frame size? 58-60cm?
