WCCX frame going to Boulder, Co. and beyond

The rider of this frame is very active in the sport of CX as a junior and his dad raced on one of my bikes back in the early '90's. Dad says that it is time for the kid to go to Belgium so off he will go with two of these frames and represent Boulder CX in the hotbed of the sport.
Just one set of bottle bosses and no guides for shift cables- this one will be wireless. I hope that he has a good experience over there-I hope to travel and see some races this winter if I can make the time.

Steel gravel frame going to Arizona.

This one is for a relatively tall ( 6' 1-1/2" ) rider and is primarily Columbus Zona .
The guy who had all the wood slabs has moved out so now my photo background is the bare steel wall of the shop. It's kind of industrial looking- I think it's OK, at least for now.

WCCX frame for a junior team member

This one is going to one of the younger juniors on our team. He has been racing on an MTB for the last couple of seasons but he has grown out of it and is now ready for drop bars and skinny tires.

WCCX frame for a local

This is a repeat customer. I built him a single speed CX last year and now he opted for a Di II geared version. He will be competing in the local races that our CX team puts on, including the first race at the local UCSC campus since 1996. Glad I am alive to see CX return to the University -really didn't think it would happen.
Oh yeah....the frame. It is paired with an Enve G-series fork that has been painted to match.

Second show bike for sale

This bike was at the Made show-even says it in writing on the chain stay. This is a steel gravel bike, all Shimano GRX mechanical shift 12 speed with carbon GRX wheels. It is made for a 5'10"  rider and is heavily discounted at $ 4,365.00  If you are interested please get in touch. There's someone coming by to look at it tomorrow but if he does not buy it I will leave this post up.
The bike has Kin BB and headset and an Enve G-series fork. It is not a cheap build and it has 700x45 tires so it is able to take larger tires than a normal CX frame. Cockpit and post are all Shimano Pro.

Show bike for sale

The Made show is over and I have some discounted show bikes for sale . This one is the "Big ass cruiser" and is built for someone in the 5'10" range. It is a steel frame that is a nod to the cruisers built around 1970-1980. It is surprisingly light- it has carbon rims, bar and fork. It has 27.5"x 47 mm tires but it can take larger. It is set up single speed as the frame has Paragon Rocker dropouts.
It has Industry -9 1X1 hubs, Cane Creek headset and a Thomson 100 mm travel internally routed dropper post. It is a great town bike but it would also be great in the dirt. Price for the bike as you see it is $ 3,765.00   Get in touch if you are interested.

Bike swap this Sunday

I'll be there with some of the shop collection of parts and a few bikes to sell. If you live in the Bay Area it might be a good place to see some great old stuff as the collection of the late Peter Johnson will be there- not everything but he had so much vintage bike stuff that it would have taken up the whole venue ! I'll be there with my little 10X10 tent and a few choice items.....have to free up a few bike hooks in the shop as they are all filled. Swap starts at 9:00 AM and will go until 2:00. There will be a raffle and a taco truck.
