Last of the Ritchey crowns

I used to have a whole box of these that I got at a bike swapabout 20 years ago. This is the last one - I made a special fork for a customer with an older Bridgestone MTB.

 

Steel 650x48 gravel frame going to L.A.

I think this one will be a fun ride- all that volume without the big circumference of a 700c wheel. 

I have only ridden tires like what will be on this bike once but I really enjoyed it. 

Nothing unusual about this one except that it has down tube routing for the rear der. instead of under the top tube like I have been doing in the past. This has a cleaner look.
 

Fully rigid steel 29er frame and fork going to Colorado

Here's a nod to what I was building back in the mid-80's. Paint and decals will also be from that era-lobster red with black and yellow original style decals. I used the old head tube collars and put on a top tube gusset. These things were all requests from the customer. Modern features are boost spacing, dropper post routing and fairly modern geometry. Should be fun to ride the trails on this one.

 

Classic steel travel/gravel going to Colorado

Here's someone who isn't buying into current component trends and sticking with rim brakes and mechanical shifting. Cables are good when you have a frame that splits in half for travel.

The fork is a straight blade crowned edition that is very late '90's in style but has clearance for more current 700x40+ tires. 

 

Disc/road frame in steel for San Diego

Wish that I could have taken the photo of this one earlier in the day- the sparkle really lights up in the direct sun.

Steel gravel frame for a local

If you look at the top tube/ seat tube intersection of this frame you'll see something I rarely do- a fillet brazed fastback seat stay attachment. 

 

All-road steel frame going to Monterey peninsula

This one has a very distinctive Jen Green gold badge. I only get a request for one of these every few years. The Enve fork has been painted to match.
