This one is bound for Alaska and can squeeze 700x50 tires. It's the extreme end of gravel in my opinion but hey- it's going to Alaska so there's probably a lot of places where that tire volume is needed.

Hmm, what is it ? CX or Road ?
This frame will have two duties. First, it will see a lot of road use. Second, it might be on a few CX courses. Truthfully, I'm not sure what it's main duty will be but it should check a lot of boxes. It has fairly nimble geometry for the road. It also has room for 700x45 tires. It also has a flattened top tube section for shouldering , i.e. , cyclocross run ups. It also has dropped seat stays for that roadie look. This person asked for all this stuff and I really hope that I delivered. I'm sure that it will get some comments as it is a slight departure from what I have been building for the last 25 years in aluminum. I have a feeling that there will be more like this one built in the coming months.

All-Road steel frame for Sacramento, Calif.
The owner of this frame has some pretty significant shoulder issues so the bars on this bike will have to be up high. The head tube will accomplish that without a big stack of spacers. The frame will be set up with Sram RED AXS and an Enve G-series fork. There are rack bosses and two bottles- very simple setup for the most part. I was able to score some NOS True Temper OX and Platinum main tubes so this one is built to take a beating.

Three 7005 rim brake road frames for Japan
These three frames and forks are all going to a shop named 'Circles'. This is a very well known shop in Japan and I have seen lots of features of them in Loop magazine, a Japanese bike culture publication . The shop is also connected to Sim Works, a supplier of some cool esoteric bike accessories. People from the shop came to last year's made show where they had a display. They also came by my booth and showed interest in what I build. This is their first order. I hope that they like what I built for them.

And so it starts- the last pre-season aluminum batch
Here's the first frame in the batch of 8-10 frames for June/July. It is a Gravel/CX for 700x47 tires. My hope is to have all these frames done by mid July-after that I'll have some catching up to do on the steel list. If you have an aluminum frame on order , definitely get in touch with your build and fit info so that you'll have a bike for the fall CX season. Once this batch is done there will be no aluminum frames built in 2025, or at least until December.
7005 road frame going to CT.
Last frame on today's data dump is this 7005 road frame. This one is just a bit over 3 lbs. and should be nice for the group rides where speed and efficiency are a must. It is set up for an integrated headset and Shimano Di II. It also has a satin clear coat-that is getting very popular as of late.
Steel 'All-Road' frame
This customer got a rim brake road frame from me years ago and now wants what most people are asking for these days- more tire volume and disc brakes. This one will be set up with an Enve G-series fork and a SRAM wireless 2X group. The frame will comfortably take 700x40 tires and should open up some new riding routes for the owner.
